Hi All,

Here is a RC of Update 2:

Note: Update 2 is cumulative, it contains Update 1 as well. You can install it directly onto 20220318-1. If no issues are found I will make office release in a couple of days together with Odyssey 2.0.

Hi Deadwood,
thank for update RC2, but I have the bug when I open path button in icon info.
Older workbench.library 45.4 OK, I use AROS mingw32-i386.

Deadwood, I've tested AROS Hosted Windows and it's very fast, is there any method to get it to connect to the Net and activate the Audio? I ask this because I would like to test OWB 2.0!

I replaced file under the link on server. Please re-download. workbench.library (v45.6) should now be fixed.

Network - there was work on bsdsocket.library for Windows hosted in 2010 but for some reason it was never enabled.

Audio - Kalamatee did an initial driver in 2022. The source codes are not yet included in the ABIv0 branch.

If any developer has Windows and would like to restart these development, let me know!

Dopus4 works perfectly on AROS Hosted Windows, the crash was due to the lack of a Floppy Drive that Dopus4 looks for as soon as it starts.

This is the same crash when a Floppy Drive is not set up on a Virtual Machine or native PC.

The version of Dopus4 where I disabled Trackdisk.device (done with a hex editor) works perfectly under these circumstances.

Since Dopus4 is on Contrib, you could edit the Source, and compile it without this function!

Update 2 is now public and available for download:

Please keep in mind that Update 2 contains also Update 1 so it can be applied directly onto existing 20220318-1 installation.

deadwood, given the many updates and the new OWB I would plan for Christmas to distribute a new version and its update of AROS One 2.7, but if any Core update is planned I would wait for its release!
